Athlete’s foot
A common fungal skin infection, often from damp footwear and moisture between the toes. Diane can assess the skin and recommend over-the-counter treatment and home-care. Prescription antifungals are not issued from this service.
Diagnosis and recommendations
Diane looks at the skin, including between the toes, and explains whether it looks like a fungal infection. She can recommend over-the-counter products and simple home-care. Foot Health Practitioners cannot prescribe antifungal cream or tablets — a GP or pharmacist can advise if a prescription is needed.
